When I think about Filipinos the first thing that comes to mind is how accommodating and friendly Filipinos are. I haven’t traveled all over the world yet. But from my experiences, Filipinos have to be some of the nicest, genuine people I’ve ever met. We are all family oriented and never hesitate to help those who are in need. We will sacrifice so much for those we love. I think one thing I’m grateful for is that our culture tends to be optimistic & no matter how bad most of our people back home have it, they are always grateful & remain humble.

My motivation to keep going is family. Present family, and my future family. Everything I do is for them. I want to be successful for them. It’s only right that I take care of the people who take care of me.

Some values I grew up on were family first, being kind to others, work hard, lend a helping hand as much as you can, and stay humble. I feel like there aren’t enough good stories of people doing good things in the world. We’ve kind of lost faith in humanity. I’m a strong believer in “it takes a village” mentality. It feels good to be able to rely on your neighbor to be there when you’re in need and I try my best to be that kind of person for someone else. Also, being humble is probably the most admirable trait a person could have. I struggle with that a lot, but I hold it dear to my heart.

I feel like I have a good sense of being able to delegate. People tend to look to me for instructions or to be told what to do. But I’m also a very honest and fair person and I do my best to make sure everyone is heard and understood.
